Overview

Often the first point of contact, the Admin I greets visitors and/or patients in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Answers telephones and provides information; efficiently routes calls and documents as appropriate.

Responsibilities

Provides general clerical support to the department by performing tasks such as typing, filing, copying and scanning.

Receives, sorts, and distributes supplies and deliveries.

Provides additional secretarial support to department members as assigned.

Note: Regular, reliable and consistent attendance is an essential job function.

Employees are expected to perform work as scheduled. Please see the physical requirements for this position listed below.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

    High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One year administrative experience preferred.
  • Must complete Ambassador Program within first 12 months of employment.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sitting for extended periods Constantly (67-100%)
  • Talking on the phone/in person Constantly
  • Typing on a computer keyboard Constantly
  • Standing/walking Occasionally (0-33%)
